It’s all a bunch of crap. All it is is just a bunch of the snotty jagbags that thought they were popular in high school clinging together to be all uppity and bitchy.

As an Australian, I only know what I’ve seen on TV or in the news, and nothing I know so far suggests either of those is a good idea. It seems that newbies are forever getting humiliated and hurt, and that it’s all about popularity and not what is in fact good for the people within the group. Uni here in Aus is just another facet of becoming an adult. We drift in and out of different social groups, we have some fun, we try to get the work done, and we don’t care much for humiliating noobs. I get a bad vibe from what I’ve heard, but I’m open to hearing some first-hand accounts instead of hearsay.

Well I am in one and it’s not just drinking/partying/sex. We do fundraisers for cancer. And almost everybody here is in a fraternity or sorority, so if you’re not, they’re probably the ones who can’t make friends or open up. And people shouldn’t base their opinions on them from movies or what they heard. It’s a whole different experience when you join.

I don’t know about losers that seems a little harsh but I do think it’s for people that want to pay for friends.
They are just generally lame but if that’s what you’re into go crazy.

i like them. i want to be a part of one when i go to college.

I dont have a problem with them.. They are very social and promote friendship when you are far from home at college.
